Positioning aid with telescopic transport – RU-AHT

The RU-AHT positioning aid allows a single person to place profiles on machines such as double mitre saws, rolling mills, bridge machines, profile stackers, machining centers, etc. There is no longer any need to "lift" profiles overhead. Employee downtime is reduced thanks to ergonomic working practices. For heavy profiles, a second employee is no longer required. The utilization rate of the subsequent machine on which the profile is placed is significantly increased. The placement process can be optimally adapted to the conditions thanks to adjustable settings. It is also possible to remove the profile bars from the machine and place them back into the profile pallet.

Integration into your workshop

The employee pushes the profile into the pallet of profiles, approximately 250 mm away, against the machine's operating plate. The profile is then automatically lifted to the set height and, once this height is reached, transported to the stop set across the loading machine. When automatic mode is activated, the profile is immediately placed on the machine. When automatic mode is deactivated, the profile is held in the set position until the employee presses a button, at which point it is placed on the machine. In this mode, it is also possible to transfer profiles from one pallet of profiles to another. During lateral transport, lowering to the current position is triggered by pressing a button without moving to the end of the travel. The employee must manually perform the same
movement on their side of the profile. The lifting and lowering speeds can be adjusted independently and continuously.
