Laser Oxide Removal

Laser, plasma, or oxy-fuel cutting of parts causes the formation of oxide layers on the surface and edges of parts, recognizable by their shiny blue/gray appearance. Before any coating, welding, or other surface treatments, it is essential that the part is clean and free of this oxide layer. This is crucial to ensure the final product’s quality, durability, and compatibility with other manufacturing processes.

Special brushes are used to remove this oxide layer across the entire surface, as well as the internal and external edges, without damaging the part.
