MTI ENGINEERING MACHINE TRAINING

TheMTI Engineering Machine training enables operators and technicians to master the use, programming and optimization of equipment designed by MTI.

This training is adapted to crimping machines, machining centers, frame makers and cutting lines in order to guarantee safe and efficient use of the machines.

Operational objectives

Acquire the necessary knowledge to understand the methods and procedures to be implemented for the use and optimization of the machine (Crimping machine, Machining center, Frame machine, Cutting line…).

To be able to:

  • Follow the safety instructions.
  • Identify the risks associated with the tools.
  • Perform the various operations on the machine safely.
  • Create manufacturing programs.
  • To carry out manufacturing operations.
  • Perform basic maintenance and report on it.

Regulatory obligations

Articles R4323-1 to R4323-5 relating to organizational measures and conditions of use of work equipment.

Prerequisites and practical advice

Good command of the language in which the training is provided.
Experience in production and maintenance in the field of industrial joinery.
Good technical background in automated systems.

Practical advice:

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Machine operational.

Target audience

Machine operator personnel and/or maintenance technician.

Access procedures and deadlines for training

  • Upon request by phone, email, or website.
  • Via the pre-registration form (inter-training) and upon validation of the positioning form.
  • Deadline according to the schedule of inter-sessions: 1 week before the start of the training.
  • Delay for intra sessions: depending on the machine installation date.

Training program

Theoretical part (knowledge):

  • Technology and general description.
  • Security devices.
  • Raising awareness of workplace ergonomics.
  • Commissioning and digital operation.
  • Tool configuration.
  • Programming of manufacturing operations.
  • Saving program parts and settings.
  • Reading diagrams: electrical, pneumatic, mechanical…

Practical part (know-how):

  • Conduct a comprehensive risk analysis and comment on it.
  • Proceed with commissioning the machine, perform the POMs.
  • Tooling assembly, placement and adjustment of parts to be manufactured.
  • Load and run the program.
  • Perform a production rollout test.
  • Managing emergency shutdowns in production.
  • Error message handling.
  • Identify maintenance actions.

Duration

  • 4 days (28 hours).
  • Sign-in per half-day.

Profile of participants

Trainers recognized for their pedagogical and technical skills and possessing extensive field experience.

Methods used

  • Alternating between theoretical and practical sessions, individual and group work.

Evaluation methods

  • Analysis of behavior and evaluation of know-how using a real-life simulation on the machine.

Number of participants

  • Intra – Inter: 1 minimum and 5 maximum per session.
